Help with 3D origami pieces

hi im sorry if this not the right section to post this but.....

im having major trouble with my model right now, my model keeps falling apart!
i am making a 3D Origami swan right now.

is it because i creased the entire piece(single trianlge) to much?
or is it because of the paper im using? im using(wausau paper)
i feel like i just wasted hours of folding these individual pieces

I fear in this case you will have to use the forbidden substance (glue).

I once made a ball from hundreds of those little triangle pieces, and glue is needed to connect each of them, unless they keep falling apart .
