Can you suggest intermediate diagrams?

Hi, I'm beyond the basic origami models now (eg crane, boxes, simple flowers), and am looking to streeeetch my skills.

I've bought Robert Lang's 'Origami Insects and their kin', but have so far only been able to get to Step 42 in the Spotted Ladybug, and Step 22 on the Butterfly.

I feel a bit over my head.
Can anyone recommend good intermediate level (and free) origami patterns on the Internet?

You can get lots of diagrams from http://www.origami.com. They're sorted according to difficulty so it's a great site for new folders.

I can emphasise the idea to look at the intermediate diagrams of http://www.origami.com/.

A very nice model which in my opinion is of intermediate level (although it's rated as complex on that site) is Charles Esseltine's Dragon: http://dev.origami.com/images_pdf/dragon_ce_25.pdf

Also look at the links of the topic here for a lot of free diagrams on the internet:

And don' t despair with the models you are trying to fold. If you have troubles with any steps just ask on this forum and you'll very likely get some help

Thanks a lot- I was successful in doing the Braided Paper diagram- it was just the right level of difficulty!

It is very nice model, really. Chairman of our Origami society used this model for its "maxiorigami" and it look very nice, you can see:

That long one is realy long and other small Wu's dragons are from silver and gold japanease foil paper 15x15 cm cutted to 5:1 dimensions, i.e. 3x15 cm. I love whole collage!
