origami dilophosaurus.

Post by madetocomment »

hellooooooooo! i am here holding an origami contest for all you dinosaur enthusiasts out there. this is to make and create diagrams for an origami dilophosaurus. i will judge the best one. it has to be suitable for a teenager, which i sort of am, but i don't want all the simple rubbish that a toddler could do. remember, it HAS to have diagrams with it. and no going off topic. dilophosaurus. nothing else. it doesn't have to be the full body, it can be a bust, but no other things. dilophosaurus. got it? good. get folding!!!!!!!!

Not trying to be negative, but providing full diagrams of a model takes a lot of time, so don't expect everyone to jump up and down contributing to this contest. Also, I think your words suggest that you are just wanting to fold a dilophosaurus and need help. Simply asking for it might do the job better than making a challenge about the subject. Might have understood you wrong though!

the thing is, i can't find any dilophosaurus diagrams and i don't want to spent money on some foreign book i can't read. there is a fantasy dilophosaur in duy nguyen's uber origami, but it is too simple for someone like me. i guess you could say that i need a diagram (NOT cp) of one, that doesn't involve me buying a book. there are other things i could spend my money on, like a new laptop if my old one breaks. no offence to the origami world. it's just that i want a diagram really badly.

The thing is, it could be considered offensive asking for free diagrams. Essentially you are asking origamists to do commissioned work for free-this can be belittling and demeaning. If you want a diagram that badly, shell out some cash for a book, or better yet-check one out for free from a local library.

if it's any help, heres a possible starting point. It dno't need diagramming, and it's not hard to shape.

XDDDDDDDDDDDD

ALL of us have at least a dinosaur with this cp/estructure!!!!!

XDXDXDXDXDXD

LOL

my dinobicho is the exactly the same but with point splitting, and a lot of dinosaurs over there, including kamiya,kawahata....

I really love your thinking way!!!

I told you!!

Hi madetocomment!

I hope you can find this useful.

There are nice cp's, not very difficult to collapse and shape, and you can ask the owners for help (that's what the community is about, sharing and helping, not working for free).

Also, from your words, if you don't want a simple model but you cant collapse it, I think you will not be able to fold a complex one...
I remember trying to collpase Gen Hajiwara's cp from a frilled neck lizard, amazing not-so-complex-not-so-simple model, you should try it.
He had too a very simple and amazing model of a T-Rex (a toddler could collapse that...), you could add a graft to the neck.

By the way, your wrote with the wrong attitude, sounding like a bully, so you will never get what you are asking for.
In fact, you will get what you don't ask for, beacuse apparently it makes you angry.

I hope you start reading cp's, designing dinosaurs, buying (and reading!) books of any kind, using capital letters at the begining of sentences and, most of all, become the greatest origamist ever, so I can buy your diagrams and understand your mind by folding your models.

Best wishes,

I believe this will help you on many levels.
