New fold: Mona Lisa by me. (on the right)
Tomorrow I'll take a better pic of Lisa alone. Just wanted to show you, couldn't wait.

Aurora Borealis

With all the turmoil and conflict in the world today, don't forget to appreciate all the beautiful wonders around us! Stop and smell the roses.

This Polar Bear is an older design, refolded to celebrate John Montroll and Brian Webb's new book -Origami Worldwide-, which includes the diagrams. From an uncut square.

Have a good week everybody!

for those of you who are looking for more experience with cp, i highly recommend you give this model a go. kazuhiro provides you with the cp, which is based on a 16x16 grid, and leaves it for you to collapse the base. it's not too hard. after you have the base, the diagrams show you the finishing touches.

I'm not a great creator, but I'm even worst folding . Anyway, I wanted to show you my attempt of folding Nazgûl on Winged Beast by Ángel Morollón.

Image

Those that are interested can find the diagrams here: http://www.gruzapa.org/modules.php?name ... ategoria=2

I simplified a few things to make it my level. Anyway, what does make me happy is that I made a very particular variation here. I was able to turn the model into a two-colored figure :)!

Image

I used double layered silk paper (I have know idea how is it really called) with no glue , and at the end, I gave it a coating of transparent spray paint to give it consistency.

I hope you think it's not that misfolded .

Hi! It's been a long while since I've been active on here. I deleted my Dropbox years ago, so some things, like my Dragonfly Varileg guide, are lost to time. I may still have other things, though! Email me if you have any questions.

Really?... well, thanks. I'm super proud of adding the color change; made me feel kinda clever :P. That way it's easier to tell apart the Nazgûl from the winged beast.
