Origami Duel Tournament!

Post by Argonaut »

There have been a multitude of origami duels springing up by the day. I think it would be fun to arrange an NCAA-style tournament where we use a bracket to determine the ultimate origami champion. Each round would last one month, with 20 days to fold and 10 days for an anonymous vote to determine the winner of each duel. I hope I can start this by the beginning of September or earlier if enough people join. If you are interested or have any comment, please submit a reply.

Congratulations and good luck to everyone who advanced to to the second round. The second round will start September 27 and Last until October 17. Then the polls shall begin and will last until October 27. The updated bracket is as follows. If you are on the top side of your duel, make sure to make a topic and introduce 3 folding topics.

The second round is over! make sure to complete your entries ASAP and get the poll started soon. Good luck everyone.

Yes, the round is officially over. Congratulations to our ODT semifinalists! =D> four have made it so far, but only one will win. Round 3 will begin on November 3 and will last until November 23. The poll will run for 10 days after that. the format shall be as usual, with the competitor on top presenting 3 topics and the competitor on bottom choosing one. The updated bracket is as follows.

Good luck to all!

We have reached the final round of the origami duel tournament! Congratulations to polistes and shortloldude, our two finalists. Polistes will be the challenger, so you can make your thread as soon as you're ready. Once you start you will have 20 days to fold then 10 to judge. Good luck to both contestants and may the best man win.

The NCAA Tournament is a tournament held in America each year where there are 64 teams from across the country competing. Each round every team will face another team. If you lose you're out, so the number of people still competing halves each round.

Do you mean what you need to do to duel someone or what needs to be done to set up the tournament?
