Do you mean what you need to do to duel someone or what needs to be done to set up the tournament?

In an origami duel, the challenger will present three different topic. The person who accepts picks one of the three topics. Both folders design and fold their entries, and when they are both done you open a poll to determine the winner.

Since this is a tournament with a bracket, the person on the top will be the challenger.

This sounds like great fun, even if I'll never make it past the first round. Count me in too. :D

Let the Tournament Begin!

I have made the following bracket for the tournament by drawing usernames from a hat. If you are on top, you are the challenger and need to make a thread and post 3 different folding topics. If you are on the bottom you need to pick one of these topics. If you have a bye, you automatically advance to the second round. First round begins August 25. All entries must be made by September 14, which gives you 20 days. Good luck to all the competitors, and may the best folder win.

PS: the hat was origami :P .

Cool, jsut one thing. Do we post the 3 topics for our competitor in this thread or make a totally new one?

Make a totally new one. If we had all the duels on one thread it would get really confusing. If you are making the thread make sure you start the poll when the first round ends on September 24.

Wait, how come me and josh both have a bye? I mean, I'm kind of happy I don't have to face him, cause he's probably a better designer than I am, but still

Otherwise you'd have an odd number of pairs.
Art is about creation. It is about self-expression. It is giving form to something within you.

Oh yeah. But aren't we supposed to be in a bracket? We kind of already have a contest going on
