eastern dragon
by seiji nishikawa
35 cm japanese foil
diagrams origami tanteidan #6

it took me 11 years to solve this model. the diagrams are (purposely, i think) vague. one of my favorite eastern dragon designs, mostly because of the crown of horns.

Image

the diagrams are so vague that the first time i correctly "solved" the model, i ended up with 5 claws on each foreleg (when i think nishikawa usually presents it with just 3).
