Loosely based on Artur Biernacki's cp, here is my interpretation of a lobster.

Re: What have you folded lately?
Yesterday a 10 year old girl wanted to celebrate her birthday with her classmates doing an origami workshop. In addition to models that we folded together I gave her a few folded by me

3-D Jack O' Lantern

I made this design last year, but had to wait until a new Halloween season to re-make it!
This time, life-sized (15" high!) model from a single 48" square, with no cutting.
A small LED flashlight lays at the bottom and lights it up very nicely!
More details on the design in the "Kareshi" gallery.

Lobster version II

Again, loosely based on Artur Biernacki's work, this time I changed the grid to 40x40 and with some major modifications of the original cp, I have created bigger claws and added another segment to the body.
Overall I think that the model looks more massive than the previous version.
