Brian Chan Flying Carp/Koi

Post by JumPurge »

I'm surprised I haven't seen anything about this model. Now it looks simple, but some parts just seem strange.

Does anybody have some info on it? Suggestions?

ive got the crease pattern around somewhere....lots of pleats to form the scales....kinda like langs koi but without the individual shaping of each scale. i sure wish there were diagrams(nudge nudge..wink.wink)....

@Axel: Really? I see it first page of a google search. 0-o Not sure if they're legal or not...
@Marc: It does have a lot of pleats, and is similar to Langs koi x-x
I have it right in front of me. 356, Pajarita Convention 2011(with Dihn's owl). It shows a division of seven...
I'm okay with flat folding a base, I just can't seem to understand the back part of the head, and the fins. It's sort of funny looking.

Um... Fluffy, not sure why you sent that as a PM and a message.
Sadly, I also don't know what you're referring to. Which CP, the one in the book, the one online that I'm uncertain of its legality?

Well I don't know. It could very well be. ._.
I say if you see a difference to go with it, at the moment, I don't see much...

Which lines are mountain/valley? It doesn't really matter-it is foldable either way.
