Underneath tissue paper

Post by Anine »

Hi!

I've watched Sara Adams video on youtube on how to make tissue paper (not foil) and I looked in LaFosses books and both use a glass plate underneath. I wanted to try making some tissue foil (I have an exhibition starting tomorrow) but I don't have a glass plate. What else can you use underneath (so that it doesn't glue itself to the tissuepaper)? I'm gonna use Sara's method where you place the two papers on top of eachother and then apply the wallpaperpaste to the tissuepaper on top only. Less moving the papers around means less risk for wrinkles and trapped air.
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
