1. Kiinan aivosota länttä vastaan - Katleena Kortesuo
Kuinka Kiina valtaa aivomme bitti kerrallaan. Me lännessä ojennamme koko elämämme Kiinalle, koska sieltä saa kaiken halvalla ja nopeasti. Riippuvuussuhteemme Kiinasta on hämmentävän laaja. |

5. The Conferences of John Cassian - John Cassian
For centuries, the Desert Fathers of Egypt pursued a life of radical simplicity, prayer, and self-knowledge in the arid wilderness. Their hard-won wisdom, passed down through stories and dialogues, shaped the entire Christian spiritual tradition. In The Conferences, John Cassian presents a series of intimate conversations with these elder monastics, covering the deepest questions of the spiritual life: How do we overcome habitual faults? What is the true nature of prayer? How can we discern God's will in everyday decisions? This modern-English edition renders Cassian's classic in clear, accessible language while preserving the original's gentle authority and spiritual depth. Whether you are a seeker new to contemplative practice or a seasoned traveler on the inner path, these conferences remain a timeless guide to the human heart's longing for union with God. Part of The Modern Wisdom Library. |

Suomi on joutumassa ansaan. Liian varhainen reaktio paljastaisi liittokunnan heikkouden. Golden Son continues the stunning saga of Darrow, a rebel forged by tragedy, battling to lead his oppressed people to freedom. NAMED ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS OF THE YEAR BY NPR, BUZZFEED, AND BOOKLIST • “Gripping . . . On virtually every level, this is a sequel that hates sequels—a perfect fit for a hero who already defies the tropes. [Grade:] A”— Entertainment Weekly As a Red, Darrow grew up working the mines deep beneath the surface of Mars, enduring backbreaking labor while dreaming of the better future he was building for his descendants. But the Society he faithfully served was built on lies. Darrow’s kind have been betrayed and denied by their elitist masters, the Golds—and their only path to liberation is revolution. And so Darrow sacrifices himself in the name of the greater good for which Eo, his true love and inspiration, laid down her own life. He becomes a Gold, infiltrating their privileged realm so that he can destroy it from within.   A lamb among wolves in a cruel world, Darrow finds friendship, respect, and even love—but also the wrath of powerful rivals. To wage and win the war that will change humankind’s destiny, Darrow must confront the treachery arrayed against him, overcome his all-too-human desire for retribution—and strive not for violent revolt but a hopeful rebirth. |
Welcome to the Unsurvivable Love Duet, the all-new series by Jasmine Mas, bestselling author of Blood of Hercules. Featuring duet narration by Teddy Hamilton and Emma Wilder.  The Emperor’s Enemy is an addictive true enemies-to-lovers dark romantasy with a heroine who doesn’t need saving, an enemy she can’t escape, and a war neither of them plans to lose. When the hunter is hunted… who becomes prey? Zora Ravenal didn’t join the Crimson Army to be a hero. She joined to destroy the empire. A skilled hunter hardened by loss with a concerning capacity for stubbornness, Zora claws her way into becoming a Knight Mage: the Commonwealth’s deadliest defense against the Empire’s storm magic and her people’s only hope. It almost works. Now she’s stuck in a war she can’t walk away from, hiding dangerous secrets, and shoved into very close quarters with the one man she should never be alone with. He’s a Royal Mage with a body count, a temper, and an unsettling obsession… with her. Now they’re partners. Sort of. He’s got a fresh start playing for a new team, but getting his hockey career back on track is going to take more than a change of scenery. He’s got to shut his past out and focus. All Benji Bryzinski ever wanted was to play in the big leagues, and he’s not going to waste one single second of his rookie season. Yoga, kale smoothies and guided meditation help keep his head in the game. But his roommate keeps knocking him off track. Maybe it’s just that Olly is a grumpy bastard. Or maybe it’s something else, something Benji doesn’t have a name for yet. Olly and Benji spend all their time together—on the ice, in the locker room, in their apartment—and ignoring their unspoken feelings isn’t making them go away. Now a legacy of blood and desire will test her beautiful daughter as Claire's spellbinding journey continues in the intrigue-ridden court of Charles Edward Stuart, in a race to thwart a doomed uprising, and in a desperate fight to save both the child and the man she loves. ___________ Readers love Dragonfly in Amber : ‘I just LOVE THIS SERIES !!!’ 5-star reader review 'This book completely blew my mind ' 5-star reader review ‘ Sensational !’ 5-star reader review 'This book stole my heart … Diana Gabaldon is an amazing writer’ 5-star reader review ‘A wonderful novel, rich with detail and filled with character development’ 5-star reader review ‘The plot twists are amazing ’ 5-star reader review Praise for the Outlander series: ‘Outlander truly is a phenomenon ’ Sam Heughan ‘An unforgettable, unparalleled love story that will leave you craving more’ Olivie Blake, bestselling author of The Atlas Six and Masters of Death ‘Epic, magical and deeply romantic’ Ali Hazelwood, bestselling author of The Love Hypothesis ‘A stone-cold classic ' Katherine Arden, bestselling author of The Bear and the Nightingale and The Warm Hands of Ghosts ‘Gabaldon’s attention to historical detail and human emotion is unparalleled , making this series an utter delight ’ Rebecca Ross, bestselling author of Divine Rivals ‘A treasure to be enjoyed and shared’ Ian Rankin, bestselling author of the Rebus series |

KATE MOSSE ____________ Demon Copperhead is a once-in-a-generation novel that breaks and mends your heart in the way only the best fiction can. Demon's story begins with his traumatic birth to a single mother in a single-wide trailer, looking 'like a little blue prizefighter.' For the life ahead of him he would need all of that fighting spirit, along with buckets of charm, a quick wit, and some unexpected talents, legal and otherwise. In the southern Appalachian Mountains of Virginia, poverty isn't an idea, it's as natural as the grass grows. For a generation growing up in this world, at the heart of the modern opioid crisis, addiction isn't an abstraction, it's neighbours, parents, and friends. 'Family' could mean love, or reluctant foster care. For Demon, born on the wrong side of luck, the affection and safety he craves is as remote as the ocean he dreams of seeing one day. The wonder is in how far he's willing to travel to try and get there. Suffused with truth, anger and compassion, Demon Copperhead is an epic tale of love, loss and everything in between. ____________ Readers love Demon Copperhead : ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 'Outstanding . . . Why do Nobel Prize winners spread fake news? This is the intelligence trap. Drawing on the latest behavioural science and great brains from Socrates to Benjamin Franklin, David Robson demonstrates how to apply our intelligence more wisely. He shows us how we can identify bias, read and regulate our emotions, fine-tune our intuition, navigate ambiguity and uncertainty and think more flexibly. Whether you are a NASA scientist or a school student, The Intelligence Trap offers a new toolkit to realise your full potential. |

THE NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER "Incredibly evocative and compelling." The Washington Post "A hugely powerful new book." Dan Snow "The most moving and chilling oral history you will read." The Times "Astonishing book about an astonishing, terrifying atrocity, relived in real time by those who were there. I read it in one sitting & was utterly gripped from start to finish." Piers Morgan "An American academic has meticulously pieced together testimony from those who were there, using declassified documents and having conducted hundreds of new interviews. The resulting book is a harrowing picture of a day that changed history." The Sun " Although many years have passed since 9/11, this book, told with such immediacy, brings so vividly back to mind the shock of that day, and why it continues to shape the tragic history that has followed. " Lawrence Wright, author of The Looming Tower " The Only Plane in the Sky is a stunning and important work-chilling, heartbreaking-and I cannot stop thinking about it. To hear the voices of those who survived, and those who did not, it is so moving and powerful. I learned so much and am so thankful for this book. " Anderson Cooper, Anchor, CNN Of all the books about 9/11 one has been missing until now - a panoramic narrative from the men and women caught up in the unprecedented human drama of that terrible day. The Only Plane in the Sky is nothing less than the first comprehensive oral history of 9/11, deftly woven and told in the voices of ordinary people grappling with extraordinary events. Drawing on never-before-published transcripts, recently declassified documents, new and archived interviews from nearly five hundred people, historian Garrett Graff skillfully tells the story of the day as it was lived . It begins in the predawn hours of airports in the Northeast, where we meet the ticket agents who unknowingly usher terrorists onto their flights. In New York, first responders confront a scene of unimaginable chaos at the Twin Towers. From a secret bunker beneath the White House, Dick Cheney and Condoleezza Rice watch for incoming planes on radar. In the offices of the Pentagon, top officials feel the violent tremor as their headquarters come under attack. We hear the stories of the father and son working on separate floors in the North Tower; the firefighter who rushes to the scene to search for his wife; the telephone operator who keeps her promise to share a passenger's last words with his family; the chaplain who stays on the scene to perform last rites, losing his own life when the Towers collapse; the teachers evacuating terrified children from schools mere blocks from the World Trade Center; the generals at the Pentagon who break down and weep when they are barred from rushing into the burning building to try and rescue their colleagues. The Only Plane in the Sky is a unique, profound, and searing exploration of humanity on a day that changed the course of history, and all of our lives. |

50. The Dictator's Handbook - Bruce Bueno de Mesquita & Alastair Smith
“A lucidly written, shrewdly argued meditation on how democrats and dictators preserve political authority.” — Wall Street Journal   Bruce Bueno de Mesquita and Alastair Smith’s canonical book on political science turns conventional wisdom on its head. They start from a single proposition: leaders do whatever keeps them in power. They don’t care about the “national interest”—or even their subjects—unless they must. As Bueno de Mesquita and Smith show, democracy is essentially just a convenient fiction. Governments do not differ in kind, but only in the number of essential supporters or backs that need scratching. The size of this group determines almost everything about politics: what leaders can get away with and the quality of life or misery under them. And it is also the key to returning power to the people. |
51. The Complete TurtleTrader - Michael W Covel
This is the true story behind Wall Street legend Richard Dennis, his disciples, the Turtles, and the trading techniques that made them millionaires. What happens when ordinary people are taught a system to make extraordinary money? Richard Dennis made a fortune on Wall Street by investing according to a few simple rules. Convinced that great trading was a skill that could be taught to anyone, he made a bet with his partner and ran a classified ad in the Wall Street Journal looking for novices to train. His recruits, later known as the Turtles, had anything but traditional Wall Street backgrounds; they included a professional blackjack player, a pianist, and a fantasy game designer. For two weeks, Dennis taught them his investment rules and philosophy, and set them loose to start trading, each with a million dollars of his money. By the time the experiment ended, Dennis had made a hundred million dollars from his Turtles and created one killer Wall Street legend. In The Complete Turtle Trader, Michael W. Covel, bestselling author of Trend Following and managing editor of TurtleTrader.com, the leading website on the Turtles, tells their riveting story with the first ever on the record interviews with individual Turtles. He describes how Dennis interviewed and selected his students, details their education and experiences while working for him, and breaks down the Turtle system and rules in full. He reveals how they made astounding fortunes, and follows their lives from the original experiment to the present day. Some have grown even wealthier than ever, and include some of today's top hedge fund managers. Equally important are those who passed along their approach to a second generation of Turtles, proving that the Turtles' system truly is reproducible, and that anyone with the discipline and the desire to succeed can do as well as—or even better than—Wall Street's top hedge fund wizards. In an era full of slapdash investing advice and promises of hot stock tips for "the next big thing," as popularized by pundits like Jim Cramer of Mad Money, the easy-to-follow objective rules of the TurtleTrader stand out as a sound guide for truly making the most out of your money. These rules worked—and still work today—for the Turtles, and any other investor with the desire and commitment to learn from one of the greatest investing stories of all time. |

Discover the enduring spiritual, historical, and literary power of The Holy Bible, a foundational text that has influenced civilizations, inspired generations, and offered comfort, guidance, and hope for centuries. Bringing together the books of the Old and New Testaments, this volume presents a sweeping account of humanity’s relationship with God. It begins with creation and follows the lives of patriarchs, prophets, kings, disciples, and believers through periods of faith, conflict, exile, renewal, and redemption. Within these pages are some of the most important narratives in religious and cultural history: Adam and Eve, Noah’s ark, Abraham and Sarah, Moses and the exodus, David and Goliath, Solomon’s wisdom, the voices of the prophets, and the birth, ministry, crucifixion, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Bible is also a treasury of poetry, prayer, moral teaching, and philosophical reflection. The Psalms express devotion, sorrow, gratitude, and praise. 70. Own or Be Owned - Codie Sanchez
From the New York Times bestselling author of Main Street Millionaire You didn't start a business to work 80 hours a week and feel broke on paper. But here you are. The "we're not going to make it" fear. The 3am panic. The quiet realisation that working harder isn't fixing anything. It's keeping you stuck. Codie Sanchez has been there. She's also been on the other side. She built a nine-figure holding company across laundromats, car washes, roofing companies, and service businesses that now print cash whether she shows up or not. Along the way, she learned the lesson most owners never get told: Heroics don't scale. Systems do. In Own or Be Owned , Sanchez hands you the private equity playbook the pros use to turn ordinary businesses into ones you actually enjoy running. The same playbook her advisory group, the Contrarian Boardroom, has used to help 14,000 owners scale. Here's what you'll learn: The Owner Score. A 10-minute diagnostic across 12 dimensions to find out if you own a business, or it owns you. Plus the exact moves to fix every weak score. The 12 P's. The framework for diagnosing the most painful problem in your business and fixing it before it costs you another quarter. Pricing that prints. How underpaid owners become high-margin operators without losing customers (most owners are leaving 30–50% on the table). The hiring filter. How to attract A-players to a Main Street business and avoid the bad hires that cost you six figures and your sanity.T he one-page dashboard. Run your entire company at a glance. The same scoreboard the best operators check every Monday morning. This is the manual most CEOs never get. It's not for slackers, dreamers, or anyone looking for a shortcut. It's for the owner who's already in the arena, bleeding, and ready to stop trading hours for a business that should be paying them back. There's a smarter way to build wealth, and take your time back. Stop being owned. Start owning. |

74. Kolkhoz - Emmanuel Carrère & John Lambert
'An epic achievement and an honest, heartfelt account' GUARDIAN A personal history of war, obsession, love and truth by the Sunday Times -bestselling author of The Adversary Standing among the mourners gathered to honour Hélène Carrère d’Encausse – renowned historian of Russia, member of the Académie Française, national figure – her son, Emmanuel Carrère, wonders who this formidable woman was: to the country, to history and to himself. In Kolkhoz , Carrère turns his unflinching gaze on his own lineage, crafting his most intimate and ambitious book yet. Spanning four generations, a century of Russian and French history, and up to the war in Ukraine, he traces the destinies of a family scattered by revolution, ideology and pride. There are White Russian ancestors clinging to vanished grandeur; relatives lured back to Stalin’s USSR and swallowed by silence; a father obsessed with genealogy and lost nobility; and, at the centre, a mother whose brilliance, ambition and dominance shaped both French intellectual life and her son’s inner world. As Carrère sifts through letters, archives and contested memories, he confronts the stories families tell to survive and the lies they tell to protect one another and asks: how do political faith and historical catastrophe reverberate across generations? And can a son write about his mother with honesty without betraying her? At once sweeping and surgical, tender and unsparing, Kolkhoz is a family epic and a reckoning: a meditation on communism and its afterlives, on filial piety and rebellion, and on the uneasy border between truth and love. 82. Blood in the Machine - Brian Merchant
"The most important book to read about the AI boom" ( Wired ):   The "gripping" ( New Yorker ) true story of the first time machines came for human jobs—and how the Luddite uprising explains the power, threat, and toll of big tech and AI today Named one of the best books of the year by The New Yorker,   Wired, and the  Financial Times •  A Next Big Idea Book Club "Must-Read" The most urgent story in modern tech begins not in Silicon Valley but two hundred years ago in rural England, when workers known as the Luddites rose up rather than starve at the hands of factory owners who were using automated machines to erase their livelihoods. The Luddites organized guerrilla raids to smash those machines—on punishment of death—and won the support of Lord Byron, enraged the Prince Regent, and inspired the birth of science fiction. This all-but-forgotten class struggle brought nineteenth-century England to its knees. Today, technology imperils millions of jobs, robots are crowding factory floors, and artificial intelligence will soon pervade every aspect of our economy. How will this change the way we live? And what can we do about it? The answers lie in Blood in the Machine . Brian Merchant intertwines a lucid examination of our current age with the story of the Luddites, showing how automation changed our world—and is shaping our future. |

84. Chalk Dirty to Me - Lani Lynn Vale
Two years ago, Cannel Crow experienced the worst day of her life. She was taken from a supermarket, and forced to spend a year with a man that treated her worse than a neglected, chained up dog. One year later, she’s saved by a shadow organization that believes the law is a joke, and the only person you can count on is you. After another year, she finally realizes the law’s limitation firsthand when the man that bought her from human traffickers, and then forced her to comply to his every whim for a year, is given a plea bargain for names of others in the operation. Knowing that her abuser will spend the rest of his life in the lap of luxury under an assumed name, Cannel spirals. At least, she begins to. Then Wilhelm Schultz, call me Will, walks into her narrow world, larger than life, and changes her reality between one breath and the next. The abrasive, larger, gruff police detective sees the world in black and white. There is right, and there is wrong. Until he falls for a woman that needs him to see shades of gray. The second he sees the world like she needs him to, there’s not a single thing on the planet that’ll stop him from fighting for her. Not even the oath he swore to protect and do no harm. |
85. The Post Card - Jacques Derrida & Alan Bass
17 November 1979 You were reading a somewhat retro loveletter, the last in history. But you have not yet received it. Yes, its lack or excess of address prepares it to fall into all hands: a post card, an open letter in which the secret appears, but indecipherably. What does a post card want to say to you? On what conditions is it possible? Its destination traverses you, you no longer know who you are. At the very instant when from its address it interpellates, you, uniquely you, instead of reaching you it divides you or sets you aside, occasionally overlooks you. And you love and you do not love, it makes of you what you wish, it takes you, it leaves you, it gives you. On the other side of the card, look, a proposition is made to you, S and p, Socrates and plato. For once the former seems to write, and with his other hand he is even scratching. But what is Plato doing with his outstretched finger in his back? While you occupy yourself with turning it around in every direction, it is the picture that turns you around like a letter, in advance it deciphers you, it preoccupies space, it procures your words and gestures, all the bodies that you believe you invent in order to determine its outline. You find yourself, you, yourself, on its path. The thick support of the card, a book heavy and light, is also the specter of this scene, the analysis between Socrates and Plato, on the program of several others. Like the soothsayer, a “fortune-telling book” watches over and speculates on that-which-must-happen, on what it indeed might mean to happen, to arrive, to have to happen or arrive, to let or to make happen or arrive, to destine, to address, to send, to legate, to inherit , etc., if it all still signifies, between here and there, the near and the far, da und fort , the one or the other. You situate the subject of the book: between the posts and the analytic movement, the pleasure principle and the history of telecommunications, the post card and the purloined letter, in a word the transference from Socrates to Freud, and beyond. This satire of epistolary literature had to be farci, stuffed with addresses, postal codes, crypted missives, anonymous letters, all of it confided to so many modes, genres, and tones. In it I also abuse dates, signatures, titles or references, language itself. J. D. “With The Post Card , as with Glas , Derrida appears more as writer than as philosopher. Or we could say that here, in what is in part a mock epistolary novel (the long section is called “Envois,” roughly, “dispatches” ), he stages his writing more overtly than in the scholarly works. . . . The Post Card also contains a series of self-reflective essays, largely focused on Freud, in which Derrida is beautifully lucid and direct.”—Alexander Gelley, Library Journal |
Definitivamente puedes descubrir Paz, felicidad y sabiduría autenticas y perdurables. |

Damen has only two things left in his life: his dragon-forged swords and his personal vendetta against the Boa Visk. The monstrous beings who've subjugated humans all across the continent have taken everything from him, leaving him broken and alone, with nothing to sustain him but the death of any Boa Visk who wander into his forest. But when he sees their captive mage, poisoned and weak, he hasn't the heart to let the man die alone. Compassion is his first mistake. The kiss he shares with Tamas is his second. With emotions he believed long dead flaring back to life, and the foolish mage destroying the walls Damen worked so hard to erect, Damen is certain his next mistake will be his last. 90. Acids and Bases - Brian G. Cox
Acids and bases are ubiquitous in chemistry. Our understanding of them, however, is dominated by their behaviour in water. Transfer to non-aqueous solvents leads to profound changes in acid-base strengths and to the rates and equilibria of many processes: for example, synthetic reactions involving acids, bases and nucleophiles; isolation of pharmaceutical actives through salt formation; formation of zwitter- ions in amino acids; and chromatographic separation of substrates. This book seeks to enhance our understanding of acids and bases by reviewing and analysing their behaviour in non-aqueous solvents. The behaviour is related where possible to that in water, but correlations and contrasts between solvents are also presented. Fundamental background material is provided in the initial chapters: quantitative aspects of acid-base equilibria, including definitions and relationships between solution pH and species distribution; the influence of molecular structure on acid strengths; and acidity in aqueous solution. Solvent properties are reviewed, along with the magnitude of the interaction energies of solvent molecules with (especially) ions; the ability of solvents to participate in hydrogen bonding and to accept or donate electron pairs is seen to be crucial. Experimental methods for determining dissociation constants are described in detail. In the remaining chapters, dissociation constants of a wide range of acids in three distinct classes of solvents are discussed: protic solvents, such as alcohols, which are strong hydrogen-bond donors; basic, polar aprotic solvents, such as dimethylformamide; and low-basicity and low polarity solvents, such as acetonitrile and tetrahydrofuran. Dissociation constants of individual acids vary over more than 20 orders of magnitude among the solvents, and there is a strong differentiation between the response of neutral and charged acids to solvent change. Ion-pairing and hydrogen-bonding equilibria, such as between phenol and phenoxide ions, play an increasingly important role as the solvent polarity decreases, and their influence on acid-base equilibria and salt formation is described. |
91. Documents of the Christian Church - Henry Bettenson & Chris Maunder
This selection of writings from the most important moments in the history of Christianity has become established as a classic reference work, providing insights into 2000 years of Christian theological and political debate. While retaining the original material selected by Henry Bettenson, Chris Maunder has added a substantial section of more recent writings. These illustrate the Second Vatican Council; the theologies of liberation; Church and State from 'Thatcher's Britain' to Communist Eastern Europe; Black, feminist, and ecological theology; ecumenism; and inter-faith dialogue. The emphasis on moral debate in the contemporary churches is reflected in selections discussing questions about homosexuality, divorce, AIDS, and in-vitro fertilization, amongst other issues. This further expanded fourth edition brings the anthology up-to-date with a new section looking at issues facing the twenty-first century churches. This includes extracts exploring the churches' responses to questions of social justice, international politics, trade and debt, environmental change, and technological development. New material also covers the global growth of Christianity, the progress of Christian unity, and mission in multi-faith and postmodern societies. |

94. Leaving the Saints - Martha Beck
Leaving the Saints is an unforgettable memoir about one woman’s spiritual quest and journey toward faith. As “Mormon royalty” within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Martha Beck was raised in a home frequented by the Church’s high elders—known as the apostles—and her existence was framed by their strict code of conduct. Wearing her sacred garments, she married in a secret temple ceremony—but only after two Mormon leaders ascertained that her “past contained no flirtation with serious sins, such as committing murder or drinking coffee.” She went to church faithfully with the other brothers and sisters of her ward. When her son was born with Down syndrome, she and her husband left their graduate programs at Harvard to return to Provo, Utah, where they knew the supportive Mormon community would embrace them. However, soon after Martha began teaching at Brigham Young University, she began to see firsthand the Church’s ruthlessness as it silenced dissidents and masked truths that contradicted its published beliefs. Most troubling of all, she was forced to face her history of sexual abuse by one of the Church’s most prominent authorities. This book chronicles her difficult decision to sever her relationship with the faith that had cradled her for so long and to confront and forgive the person who betrayed her so deeply. This beautifully written, inspiring memoir explores the powerful yearning toward faith. It offers a rare glimpse inside one of the world’s most secretive religions while telling a profoundly moving story of personal courage, survival, and the transformative power of spirituality. |

Andrew Huberman, host of the world’s leading health and science podcast Huberman Lab and neuroscientist and professor at Stanford School of Medicine, presents an essential guide to improving brain function, enhancing mood and energy, optimizing bodily health and physical performance, and rewiring your nervous system to learn new skills and behaviors that can positively transform your life. The power of your physiology can be harnessed in two complementary ways: First, through a set of foundational behaviors—core practices that substantially improve your day-to-day mental and physical state. Second, through specific science-based tools you can use to overcome common challenges or achieve elevated levels of mental or physical performance. In this book, Dr. Huberman offers essential practices for both, called “protocols.” These protocols can help you unlock your brain and body’s full potential across seven areas: - Sleep - Exercise - Stress Control - Nutrition - Light - Focus, Motivation, and Learning - Personal Growth For example, a simple sleep protocol includes viewing sunlight as soon as possible after waking. Another protocol uses a unique breathing pattern to reduce stress in the moment. There are also protocols for getting stronger and leaner at any age, and for allowing you to learn faster. And much more. In his clear and engaging style, Huberman explains the science behind each protocol, then shows how they can deliver immediate, effective results. What’s more, he describes how to customize them, allowing you to adapt them to your individual needs. Drawing on decades of research—from his own work and that of the many world experts he has interviewed over the years—Dr. Huberman delivers a comprehensive and indispensable guide to improving your mental health, physical health, and performance. |

Eve Dallas journeys into the darkness where murder is born… NYSPD lieutenant Eve Dallas never knows what to expect when she gets word of a body.
