Te Aka is a Māori language dictionary that is easy to use by searching for Māori or English words. It includes the ability to filter search results, and to save definitions to a Favourites list. There are currently over 24,000 Māori headword entries in the database, which is being added to over time. An offline dictionary has also been included when internet connectivity is not available. As well as English meanings, it has example sentences with translations for many entries. It even has photographs and audio clips for Aotearoa/New Zealand native fauna and photographs of flora, important people and other items where a photograph will aid understanding. In addition to the words one would expect in a traditional dictionary, it also has encyclopaedic entries designed to provide key information about plants, animals, stars, planets, heavenly bodies, important Māori people, key ancestors of traditional narratives, tribal groups, ancestral canoes, song types, musical instruments, Māori names for institutions, country names, place names and other proper names. There are also detailed explanations of key concepts central to Māori culture. The ieRetail Pro calculator is a quick calculator for buyers and sellers that calculates GPs, Cost, Sell, margin, and markup on a product by product basis. In this regard, the calculator can work on a product basis and the user is able to change one variable and note the commensurate changes in all the other variables for that product. You can therefore use it to calculate sell prices, cost prices, profit margins in percentages or dollars, and you can do this for as many products as you like. You also have the ability to change tax (GST/VAT) rates so it is equally useful no matter what tax rate may be in effect. Transcend Theory: This app is designed to generate random words. What the app does: The idea behind this app is to see if random formations of letters can create words and sounds of meaning. When you press the play button letters from an alphabet list will begin a random formation process at various lengths and intervals. These formations will be used to generate vocal sounds. Text transcriptions of these sounds can be used by turning on the Transcribe feature. The Filter feature of the app can be used to trim and "clean up" these audio clips to produce a more easily understandable interpretation. The result of this process will produce random words and vocal sounds. Settings: In the settings you will find a voice speed slider that can be used to speed up or slow down the voice sounds being produced. The reverb audio effect can be used to create a more spacious sound. A text log will store any text transcriptions you receive.
